初期ライブの定番曲「Weekend On Mars」「Hungry」「Problem Child」「Rocket In My Pocket」のスタジオ・バージョンに加え、'81年2ndアルバム『サイケデリック・ジャングル』収録曲「Jungle Hop」「The Natives Are Restless」「Can't Find My Mind」「Rockin' Bones」の初期バージョンなど、初代ギタリスト、ブライアン・グレゴリー在籍時の黄金期ならではのヒリヒリした演奏を収録した全12曲。

'90年代、当店が招聘したFugazi来日時に、イアン・マッケイ氏が熱く語っていた言葉だ。米国ハードコア、そして元祖エモ・シーンの重鎮であるイアンの口から、タイムボム・レコーズを始めるきっかけにもなった大好きなザ・クランプスの名前が飛び出した。その瞬間は本当にうれしくて、興奮したのを今でも覚えている。
