In 1996, DAI picked up MIWA, who was hitchhiking somewhere in Kobe. The two, both deeply devoted to alternative rock and garage culture, immediately hit it off, discussing the idea of forming a band and officially forming one the following year, in 1997. Strongly influenced by surf instrumental, rockabilly, garage punk, and psychedelic rock, they have pursued an even more lo-fi, wild, and primitive sound through an energetic live schedule. After several lineup changes, bassist Emily joined in 2017. Their stage performances, in which they appear dressed in bondage fashion, have already earned them cult status in the garage punk scene in various places. In addition to their original songs, their covers of garage classics are even more psychotic than the originals, and expectations are high for their future activities on a post-Cramps, world-class level.
